Happy Nurses Day!

Daddy has had his taste of bak kut teh soup with porridge, and oats with yoghurt for breakfast which is his favourite. The past few days have been very encouraging. Dad has managed to hold up his right leg for more than 10 seconds, 5 times a day! Imagine the smile on my face when I got the text from Mummy :D Daddy is improving so much, and his therapists are well pleased with his progress. I keep sharing that it's all God.

So it's Nurses Day today!

Here's a letter Mum wrote to the hospital nurses who has been taking good care of Dad.

My husband was transferred to SDMC Ara CCU on 16th April around 430pm in a
semi-conscious state (for 2 wks) and became fully conscious with emotional
responses at 630pm same day. We joke that he much prefer SDMC to the
previous hospital!

The nursing care he has received is excellent and the quality consistent
during all shifts. The nurses make it a point to cheer and encourage him
each day. It cannot be easy and back breaking  attending to a bed bound
patient and yet there's nothing but kindness and cheerfulness during the
numerous occasions for linen and clothing changes.

Thank you 'angels' from Mr Sam and family.
Happy Nurses Day!
